Derek nodded swearing softly. He had hoped that he would be able to find
some easy concrete explaination for what was going on. Ria's sudden
disappearance had been unusual, but she'd been through so much lately, that
Derek had just let it go. He was furious with himself for that now. He
should have gone looking for her immediately, instead he let her go off on
her own and now God only knew what was happening to her. He gave Julia a
side long glance, vision of what happened to her filling his head. Turning
back to the road. Derek shoved those thoughts away. That was in the past
and nothing could be done about it, perhaps something could be done about
this though.
