Derek took the short cut Julia pointed out and they were at Ria's apartment building in a fairly short period of time, though to Derek it seemed like an eternity.  Another disturbing flash hit him, causing him to slam on the brakes suddenly, jolting everyone in the car.  He took a deep breathe and began to speed up again.  "I'm sorry," he apologized to Julia and Philip.  Once the car was parked he got out and looked at the two team members.  "I don't know what we are walking into," he said, "so be cautious."     Julia nodded once, put the map on the floor board and took out two small weapons, one she slid in the back of her sweats, the other she locked and loaded and held carefully at her side.   She gave one look to Philip and teased "No comments about being a female Nick, Padre."   With that she moved to walk beside Derek.  He had seen something in his mind, she was sure of it.  And she was on alert.     [tag]
