Julia was careful about taking the sheets from the woman, knowing and
remembering bad reactions from others in the past when parted from the item
or substance that had affected them in similar ways, she looked back at
Derek once she did that much and took a step back to let him help Ria up.

She looked down at the pages herself and frowned. She felt.. something but
it wasn't touching her. It was almost as if...

She was distracted from her thoughts as the others started moving out of the
room and she followed behind, giving the room one last look before closing
the door.

Derek hurried to the SUV, putting Ria gently into the back seat. "Philip
would you mind sitting back here with her, try to talk to her see if she
responds at all." He then got into the driver's seat and started the car.
Once everyone was loaded he headed back, picking up the cell phone and
calling to make sure he had access to a boat to get back across. He didn't
like the idea of taking Ria out in the night air, but there was no other
choice they had to get back to the house and at this hours there was no
other way. As he drove her turned over the meaning of the words Julia read
him in his mind. He also tried to decypher what Ria had been mumbling, but
it hadn't been clear enough for him to get anything.
