Derek had been wondering where she'd gotten off to.  "Julia, you're just in time."  He handed her the book pointing to the passage he had been studying closely for the last hour.  He didn't have anything against Lani, but she was new and he wasn't sure how she'd handle a situation like this.  Though she was making great progress with the analysis of the pages.  When it came down to it, he wanted someone he knew he could trust to handle the most delicate part of this operation.  Normally his first choice would have been Alex, but under the circumstances Julia seemed the better candidate.  "Do you think you could handle that if you had to?"
 
 
Julia took a moment to look over it before answering, but when she did it was in the affirmative and she nodded "Just tell me when."
 
It was almost as if she had never left, the way she was able to keep up with the others.
