Nick looked over in the direction she had nodded in. so she wanted to play and with a
bet! "All right." Walks over to the rack along side Julia. It didn't take long to
choose a stick since it didn't really matter which one he played with. they were all
basically the same. He watched Julia for a minute knowing this was going to take
forever so he went over and laid claim to the table before someone else did. Nick
glanced back over seeing that she was nearly at the end of the rack, he shook his head
then started to set up knowing sooner or later she'll be over.
Nick looked over at her when she finally came over. "What makes you think you're going
to win?"

She grinned and nodded toward a pool table "I'll play you. Winner gets... whatever
they want."
It was a deliberate open bet and she winked before picking up her mug and move over to
the rack that held the cue sticks. She cocked her head to the side and listened for a
moment as a song started to play then started to tap her foot to the beat, at the same
time looking over one and then another cue stick, sliding in tune to the music as she
went to the next stick and eventually the next rack.
She ended up in the corner and finally found a stick she liked and was taking a drink
from her mug when one of the guys from the pool table she was next to turned, looked
her up and down and winked at her.
Uh, yeah, she thought to herself, giving him a polite smile as she made her way to the
vacant pool table Nick had gotten. "Rack 'em up, hotshot." she teased him, not
bothering to mention the galoot from a second ago "And I'll think of how I'm going to
use my win."
