Nick glanced over at Rachel when she thumped the dashboard. Couldnt she wait till they
got back at the house so she can thump derek and not the poor car. "it's okay rach. if
i didnt want to be apart of it i would have walked the other way. so what exactly
happened while Julia and I were gone? I know you two must have been at it awhile since
you were all ready at eachother's throats by the time I walked in."

I breathed an audible sigh of relief as I saw the gate open in front of us,
but couldn't contain my displeasure. I thumped the dash hard, "damn
him....damn them all!" I hissed. "After everything that's happened tonight
you'd have thought he'd want us and Kat as far away from that...that...place
as possible! But noooo, Dr. Derek has to be the big man and make everyone
grovel...well I won't damn him!" I looked over at Nick with an apologetic
frown, "I'm sorry...I shouldn't have dragged you into this mess."
