Milo was going over some old tome filled with descriptions of different artifacts stored at the London House. He was looking for a particular statue which was only recently had it's origins discovered. Having spent a month tracking it down for the Moscow house. He had been doing alot of travel this year, it had been dull since his last visit at the San Franciso House. He missed it now even though it had lead to the destruction of some antiques at his and Derek's hands. Since that time he had been sent to several different houses identifying and cataloging different artifacts. He never go to many specifics on any cases these artifacts were involved in and was starting to get curious. It was all fine to work with these things but afterawhile you got bored and desired for something, anything to happen. It didn't help meeting new people, he was getting the feeling the incident at SF was given him a black mark amongset some of the pruder people in the legacy. Still he did make a few friends abroad and one was walking up to him now. He looked up from the tome rubbing his sore neck. It was late in the London House library, he stayed up alot whether having fun or articfying. Lisa McFulm gave him a smile as she appracoed him. "This came in for you this afternoon, you've been in here all day haven't you Milo?" She said shaking her head amused. "Well it is an important search but, the break is welcome" He siad grining and taking the letter. "You know I've been thinking we both need a break myself." He coninued as he opened the letter and pulled it out. "It's probably from Derek, since its from San Francisco.." He noted the adres from the states. He began to read over it and his face grew slack with disblief. "What is it Milo?" Lisa asked him seeing his reaction to the letter. "Well it's not from Derek... it's appreantly from Sara.." He siad his voice fuill of doubt as he frowned at the letter. It had said he had a daughter named Marissa, and Sara the mother whom he hadn't seen in years. The last time he did was sometime before his year with Greenpeace. He put the letter down for the moment forgetting about the search now for the rellc statue. He took a few breaths trying to console himself with the letters contents. Not only did he have a daughter, but Sara was the mother, a person he had not had a good relationship with. He got up ignoring Lisa's worried inquries of him, stuff the letter in his jacket he went to a phone. He wasn't sure if Sara still lived in the same place or not but decided to call it. Why had she never told him of this before? Marissa had grown up never knowing he was here, and he never knowing she had existed. This was a shock that made him rethink his current situation, he was going to go San Franciso to see his daughter even if he was being called else where. ===== Scott "Shard" Dirk "Am I learning?" - Angelus __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
