Kat was concentrating on her father, as Miranda instructed, when a familiar voice penetrated her mind.  The little girl opened her eyes and looked around.  She didn't realize that might not be able to see her or reach her.  She could see Julia and hear the worry in her voice.  "Julia?  I'm right here," she called out loudly.  her hand wandered to the crucifix holding it tightly, her cry projecting itself out into the waiting space.

Miranda took Kats answer and transferred it to the fake Kat in the bedroom, if anyone heard it, it would sound like it came from there...

But Julia wasn't in the bedroom, had in fact left the house because of the pain there...... but what if by her running something had happened to Kat, and she hadn't been there to help protect her?

She heard Kat's voice in the place she, Julia, had been in for so long hoping....  but Julia stopped that thought, knowing it was no use even dwelling on it with what she had heard earlier from Alex's room.  She turned her thoughts and concentration at the matter at hand.

Her blue gaze scanned the area she knew all too well, worry evident in their depths.  Then she thought of the one person that could help her on this side... the person that could help her locate Kat faster than most.

"Patrick... Patrick I need your help." she called out, summoning him with the same worried tone in her voice but with an element of command that hinted she had had to call on others in the past to accomplish a task.  "I think something's happened to Kat..."

The air beside her shimmered and she turned to it.  Having accepted the peace the Beings had offered Patrick's natural state was of the spirit, only appearing to be in physical form when needed.

"What do you mean, something's happened..?" Patrick's voice echoed mildly, mirroring Kat's self appointed co-guardian's expression and tone.  Then he turned his thoughts toward Kat.. seeking...........

<<hope that's not jumping anything, if it is just fix it ;)>>
