Kat was ecstatic,  "I came to visit you," she said exuberantly.  "Isn't it neat?"  She could hardly contain her excitement.

Then Julia pinpointed her and sighed with relief, still mixed with confusion considering nothing was physically wrong with Kat, but at least she wasn't mortally wounded.

Patrick lowered himself on his haunches and sighed himself.  He loved seeing his little girl - and she was growing up fast - but being here was not a good on a mortal body.  It weakened the link between them and life.  That's why he couldn't have her here in the past and why it wasn't a good idea to have her here now.

He looked at Julia "Can you .. take us somewhere nearer to her realm?"

It was going to cost her in energy but she didn't even consider it because she was thinking along the same lines as Patrick and didn't want Kat to get hurt so Julia nodded.

"Kat.. Julia's going to take us somewhere..." he started, then frowned as he tried to pinpoint what it was that felt so... off about his daughter.  He even looked at the point where Miranda was but she was still hidden and hadn't made a sound, so he nor Julia really paid much attention.  They were focused on Kat.

Patrick held out his hand for his daughter to take and gave her a half grin "That's some cross there.  Ready?"
