OM:
I was reassured by Derek's presence, not entirely sure what I was going to
find when I opened my little girl's room. I put my hand on the door handle and
knocked lightly with the other, "Kat? Are you in there?" I asked, "can I come
in?"
NM:
Julia looked at Kat, smiling reassuringly, albeit a little unsure of how this was going to work out but not going to leave her to face it alone either "We're not going anywhere." She even pointed to the spot she could still see Patrick
standing in, although he had vanished from mortal eyes and then turned to look
at the door opening.
Maybe they didn't know about her leaving yet and she only
sensed Derek and Rachel.
So she crossed her legs and called out to Rachel "It's
open."
