Kat, who was looking more nervous by the moment. "Well young lady, what do
you have to say for yourself? And this time how about the truth!"

Julia started to slowly look around, remembering the odd sense she had had
in the other realm. She hadn't seen anyone else with Kat, but with her
dealings with the Legacy and assignments she had had with the Beings, that
didn't mean much when one wasn't concentrating.
But this time Julia was concentrating and she moved around to put her feet
on the floor and start to extend her senses as she had been trained to do by
the Beings. If something other than what she had come to refer to as
'angel' power was being used around here right now, she would feel it.
She stood up and started at one point of the bedroom, casually walking as if
she were studying one item or another while the daughter and mother
discussion happened so as not to alarm anyone, and started to 'Look' for
whatever it was that had pricked her senses earlier.
