"I'm sorry but he's left the country on some business. Can I take a
message?" Lisa said buisness like, curious to know who it was that was
calling for Milo. Maybe it had something to do wiht that letter he recived.
Reese hesitated a moment, then spoke "I'm not sure if... he called here
earlier to speak with me but I wasn't in. This is... this is Marissa
Morgan, his -- well his daughter."
There, she'd said it. Felt odd as hell but it was said and hopefully would
help in getting some information. She wondered if he had somehow learned of
her mother's death -- or maybe she hadn't been the only one that had been
told about a new relation.
"If his 'business' is in San Francisco," she added thoughtfully "Most likely
it's me. Is there a forwarding number or address I could have to get in
touch with him?"
She heard Brady from the living room asking the others for what they'd have
to drink and, tucking the remote phone under her chin and walking to the
fridge, pulled out the drinks she had heard the others call out, ready to
meet him at the door so he wouldn't have to bother himself too much with
digging around for them.
