She looked at her hands and then tucked the phone under her chin as she
reached for a kitchen towel and wiping them and continuing to hold the towel
as she swallowed once and just came out with " - that he was on his way to
the San Francisco branch of the company he works for. My name is Marissa
Morgan..."

Derek glanced over at Milo, wondering if he should tell the girlt o call
back in the morning, he had been drinking quite a bit. "Yes he is here," he
told her. He hesitated before adding, "I'll get him for you." He was going
against his better judgement, but since she was calling he hated to put her
off. He carried to phone over to his friend. "It's your daughter," he said
softly holding the phone out.
