I put aside my file, "of course not, come in," I said with a smile. "So
what's up?" I asked, "you look worried. Anything I can do to help?"

Julia entered the room and let her gaze skim toward Patrick, who was simply
standing with his shoulder against the wall, arms crossed, and watching his
wife with a whimsicle yet soft smile. He looked back at Julia when she
entered and nodded once in greeting, commenting "She looks so tired. She
hasn't been getting the rest she needs."
Julia gazed at Rachel and had to agree even as she pointed to a nearby chair
"Mind if I sit down?"
