Marissa was waiting for the couple's answer and choked on a soft laugh at
Sam's antics before uncovering the phone and relaying the apologies - minus
the claim it was a prank caller - and let it be known but unspoken that Sam
was just being protective and Reese couldn't blame her, much less not be
anything but grateful that she had someone looking out for her like that.
Samantha:
Sam was happy to see that her friend could still laugh. It had been a touch
day and one look at the wet towel in the sink told her things were catching
up to her friend. They needed to figure something out about that. Maybe
her father had some clue about and how ot make life more bearable for her.
She ws doing her best to calm her friend down and make her relax, that was
one of the few things that seemed to keep things from going haywire, though
it wasn't always a solution.
