"Now that you mention, no he was referred. Not by anyone who would normally
do that in any case. He had someone searching for the painting and
apparently that person found out the church sent it to us. He showed
unexpectedly shortly before Kat's friend arrived." He wondered if the two
were connected somehow or just just a coincidence. "And as long as you'll
be here, we might as well put you to work."
