Alex
Changing our minds? I doubted that was going to be an option especially as
we were here already. "I wonder if the guy is still watching the place," I
looked around the neighbourhood trying to see what lay beyond the
obvious...nothing I could see.
-Nick-
I sat there looking over at the house then around the neighborhood after arriving. I
was wondering the same thing Alex had just asked. "Could be I
dont know...lets just get in there, find what we can then get out of here."
Alex
"You got it," I replied as I got out of the car. I felt slightly nauseous at
the thought of invading my friends privacy, but reminded myself why we were doing
this. With a final push of resolve I walked to the front door and
slipped my key into the lock. There was no going back now.
-Nick-
I got out and followed her to the front door. This weird feeling rushed over me when
we stopped on the porch. This is wrong really worng but can really turn back now gotta
finish what we had started. I glanced around the yard then went in after Alex had.
Alex
I walked through the house, trying my best not to look at all the things
that reminded me who lived here. I opened the door of the office and went
inside heading to the filing cabinet. I looked at Nick before trying the
first draw...locked, "would rachel keep a key around here, or are we going
to have to force it?" I asked Nick.
-Nick-
I went into the office and took a glance around before looking over at Alex. "She
might, just have to look and if theres no key not like you cant pick the lock."
Alex
I frowned, "there's a big difference between wondering in and stumbling across a few
files and actively breaking into her filing cabinet!" I began
searching around on her desk, looking for a key or anything else that might prove
useful. "Nick...look at this," I said standing straighter and offering
him the piece of paper. "Graham Daniels...a former patient of Dr. Henry Witherspoon
was found dead in his home on Wednesday." I looked up at Nick,"wonder why Rachel kept
the clipping?"
-Nick-
"I dont see any difference here." I said as I started to look around the desk for a
key, if there was one around. "hmm...?" I looked up and took the paper from her.
"Maybe she knew the person?"
