A few moments later the door opened and I was faced with a guy who was
dressed in a suit looking like a typical butler. He asked if he could help
me in a polite tone with a warm smile. I replied, '' oh hello I'm Megan
Lewis, a friend of Derek Reyne's. I am a new member to the Legacy, I don't
know if he mentioned me at all but he told me to stop by whenever....have I
come at a bad time? '' I added as I now felt embarrassed as the man stood
staring.
Jonathon:
He knew what the Legacy was, but from years of training and working with
them he answered as he should and raised an eyebrow questioningly "I'm sorry
but this is the Luna Foundation. A Professor Rayne does reside here though.
Please, follow me and I will announce you."
He walked toward the sitting room and opened the door for her, extending his
hand for her to preceed him before entering and asking "Would you like
anything to drink while you're waiting?"
