Alex
"Umm, a study date," I chuckled giving him a mischivious smile, lacing my
fingers through his as we walked across the parking lot. "How romantic." I
slipped into the passenger seat beside him and rested my head back against
the seat. We pulled off and were soon on the road back to the Legacy house.
It had been a long day, and whilst this needed every bit of attention what I
craved was a long soak in a hot bath followed by a good nights sleep. I
looked over a Nick with a soft smile, well, maybe not all sleep...thank
goodness there was no more hiding. We pulled through the gates and drove up
the path to the front doors, "we should start by finding Rachel," I said
quietly, pulled out of my pleasent thoughts by the reality of the situation.

Rachel
The knock came as a shock, snapping me out of my thoughts...I wanted to scream and
rage, tell the world to go to hell! Her voice was what triggered me, bolting for the
door I unlocked it and tore it open, pushing roughly past her I headed down the
stairs. I needed air, I couldn't breath in this place...I had to get out! Oh God,
Kat...I couldn't let her see me like this, I felt as though I was loosing my mind...I
opened the front door and ran out into the drive, gasping for air. I fled the house,
moving quickly across the gravel and only slowing as I felt grass under my feet. I
sank to my knees wanting to scream out my frustration, instead staring out at the
water...I had to get back to the city...I had to find peace.

--Nick--
Nick grinned at the study date comment then got in and drove them back to the
island...Before they knew it they were back on Angel Island, car parked in the garage
and them two heading towards the house just in time to see Rachel bolting from the
house and towards the lake. Nick took a quick look at Alex, not liking this at all,
then took off in the same direction Rach had gone in.
