Marissa:

>Reese followed the others and whispered to Milo "You
must have a blast in this place. All these books >and
information..... I think I'd go into that library and
get lost and have to have a team come in to get me if
>I were left alone in there."

Milo:

You sound just like me.. always the book worm. Though
I usualy had enough sense to come out stick my head
out for some sun and fun. He siad with a joking grin.

>She glanced back at Julia, who was bringing up the
rear and, Reese just noticed, not looking too good.

>"Is she okay?" she asked quietly, her brow puckered
in equal concern, not really wanting to butt in
>considering what Sam... well, she mentally shrugged,
not really sure what to say about that. She had her
>own opinion about what went down but she wasn't going
to get into it here and now.

Milo:

Im not sure really.. She does seeem a tad blue.. But
then I really dont know her well. Milo said he
frowned a bit though. He seemed to remember a Julia
but hadnt she died?

>Jonathon calling out to her snapped her out of her
thoughts and Julia looked back, pausing "What's up?"

>"Professor Rayne has a caller. Someone that claims
to be an associate of the.. Luna Foundation," he said
>in a way Julia knew meant someone was tossing around
the Legacy name with disregard to the secret it >was
supposed to be and inwardly grimaced and asking
"What's their name?"

>"A Ms. Lewis. She's in the sitting room."

>Julia nodded, knowing she might be called on to
finish the tour and going up with Jonathon to let
Derek >know about the new visitor.

> Julia looked at him for a moment but remained quiet
as she stepped asideto
> let him pass, hanging back as he took the lead and
rubbing her foreheadwhen
> he left the room. Something wasn't right and damned
if she could figureout
> what it was. She had refused to be baited by
Samantha Owen's verbal jabs,
> had even found it funny and now...... now she was
ready to shrug and sayto
> hell with it.>
> She heard the others out in the foyer and sighed
before going out to join
> them. There was Derek being the gracious host and
of course.. Sam hanging
> on his every word.>
> Well Derek was a big boy, she thought, but it still
annoyed her for some
> reason, seeing Sam acting the way she was. Maybe
she was overly tired and
> it was finally getting to her?>
> Maybe she should just part the group when they
reached the second floorand
> go do something. She was tired but too.....
something to sleep at the
> moment.>> Jonathon at the door drew her attention
for a moment but the group
had> started forward so she moved with them, taking up
the rear, almost feeling
> like that was where others might have wanted her to
be for whateverreason.>
> She sighed inwardly as her feet took one step after
the other up thestairs.>
Derek:Derek led the way through the house doing
something he could do very well,
talking of the architcchture and the art work with
great relish. He did
like his house, and enjoyed showing it off on
occassion. He stopped and
pointed out Milo's room to both him and Reese. Sam
moved up beside him
again, though she did actually give him a little more
space this time and
had been relatively quiet up until that point.

Milo:

Milo didnt seem to notice the looks on Derek or
Julias faces much. Beinging fixated on his own
problems at hand. Well thiers my sleeping area, not
much really I dont spend a lot of time in the
bedroom. He siad to Marissa and then looked to Derek
quickly. Not one word! He siad in mock serious tone
his lips grining in amusement.

 Derek kept a careful eye
onJulia as he was worried about her. She was wearing
herself out and that
concerned him. He wished that he'd put up a bigger
fight about all this, at
then she wouldn't have been doing so much so soon. He
led them down to the
garden, after the complete tour, a truly inspired idea
he realized. Now
they could leave, though he did tap Milo on the
shoulder. "If you want
Reese to stay we can get her back home," he told his
old friend. He bid
them all farewell, stating that he had some work to
get done. This was
actually the truth. He needed to fins out what was
going on with Rachel and
where Alex and Nick were and he needed to make sure
Julia got her rest. It
also occured to hm that he should find something to
occupy Kat, because she
became adventurous and decided to "create" something
to do on her own.Sam:
Sam smiled at him and thanked him for his hospitality.
 Derek was a little
surprised that she had backed off some, though she was
still being herself,
just not quite the way she had been earlier.DereK and
Sam

Milo:

Well that is up to her I think Though we were
planing on meeting in the morning to go to her aunts
old place. He siad.

Ah, the attic, just what she thought. "So, you get
you're very own floor,"
she commented. "That's very interesting." She
started out of the room and
headed towards the stairs walking beside Reese.NM:
Julia chuckled and looked at Derek, teasing him
quietly and pretty much
shrugging off Owen's would be dismissal "Did I invade
your play space,Derek?"
Reese almost choked hearing that part and looked at
Sam wondering if she had
heard what Julia had said to the professor. No way
was she going to repeat
it, that was for sure!

Milo:

Milo gave Derek a quiry look, then grined an sly
smile. He mouthed the words you dog.. and shook his
head sliently.

"Well," She looped her arm through Milo's in an effort
to distract Sam if
she hadn't heard the quiet comment "So we get to see
your new corner, eh?"
Claire followed the others out, having missed the
comment but curious as to
what the house and grounds looked like and holding
Brady's hand as they
neared the stairs.

Milo:

Yes this is my stomping grounds now, I suspect that
wiskey will shortly be on the endangered list here.
He siad chucklling, It was good to be humorus now, it
helped him to forget the dull ache in his heart.
Helped to distract him from Saras face that kept
floating around in his mind.

> Julia's lips quirked before she answered casually
"Third floor. Shall we
> start the tour?">Sam:
Ah, the attic, just what she thought. "So, you get
you're very own floor,"
she commented. "That's very interesting." She
started out of the room and
headed towards the stairs walking beside Reese

> "Not yet." Julia gave her a half grin before Derek
spoke and she turned to
> him, in a tone he knew well by its undertones
"Spiffy. How about starting
> at the second floor and coming down and then giving
a run around the
> gardens? No need for the third floor considering.">
> "Considering what?" Reese walked in just then,
sizing up the situation in
> less than a blink and putting her hand around her
friend's shoulder and
> stepping her back with the excuse of telling her the
good news of Milo
> coming over tomorrow to go through the Aunt's house,
at the same time
> listening to Julia.>
> "Well, there's just a couple of bedrooms up there.
Nothing worth a tour.">
> "Oh," Reese blinked "Is that where Milo's is?">
> "Actually, no." Julia answered, having gotten the
news from Jonathon that
> her old room was already being readied for Derek's
friend "He gets my old
> one. Well, it's not old but you know what I mean.
Both of you get to peek
> at it for the first time during the tour if you'd
like.">
> She winked at Milo and grinned "Just remember, you
have no idea how that
>secret compartment with Ale got in the closet.">

Milo:

Oh it must have been that ghost that dunn it. Milo
said with a sour look. Nothing like spirits to show
old dogs new tricks

> She looked at Derek to see if the plan she had
offered was good,especially
> considering the end of the tour would have them all
ending up at the
> vehicles and raised a curious eyebrow.>Sam:
Samantha couldn't resist. "Where is your "new" room,"
she asked curiously.
She managed to hold the rest of her question back,
though it echoed in her
head. <in the cellar or the attic?>Sam
