'' If I can leave the envelope for you to deposit is it okay to go get my
bags?. Derek said it would be okay to use the guest room for a little while
until I get a place '' I smiled as I waited for his reply and his help which
I hoped he would give me.
Jonathan smiled warmly "Of course ma'am. Follow me and I'll show you to
your room. Perhaps maybe even show you a little around the estate so that
you can get your bearings for when you return with your belongings."
He took the envelope and tucked it into his jacket pocket, making a note to
get instructions on it from Dr. Rayne.
"If you would?" he extended his hand for her to preceed him out of the room
and stepped after her, matching her pace as they went up the stairs. "We've
just recently had a small.. what do you say.. change of rooms go on. We
just finished redecorating the one you'll be staying in as a matter of
fact."
