Kat grinned and began to eat her ice cream a bit faster. A little too fast
as it turned out. She grimaced as a sharp pain shot through her temple.
She hated when that happened. It always happened when she drank milk shakes
and sometimes soda that was too cold. Not so often with just regular ice
cream though. She finished the rest after the feeling passed.

Julia chuckled, not having missed the slight grimace Kat made when the cold
got too much for her. Then she accepted the bowl and set it in the sink,
filling it with water to let it soak.
"Hop on, last train for the mystery trail about to leave." she quipped as
she turned to let Kat hop on, only to shift once the girl did to adjust for
both of their weights and start out of the kitchen.
"Ever hear of Carmen and Waldo?" she asked as she head for the stairs "They
have a contest going on now I read in the paper.. if you find them you get
toy prizes - a toy store shopping spree."
She walked up the stairs at a kind of 'hop/step', making sounds of a funky
train every once in a while and laughing at herself before adding "If you
find them and win.. I get a glow in the dark slinky though, agreed?"
