Reese finished swimming and.... she just finished. She wasn't sure how long
she had been out there but eventually and feeling as if she were pulling a
ton of bricks behind her, she made it to the shore and fell to her side and
back in the most shallowest of the water's line before looking up at the sky
and taking in big gulpfuls of evening air. She knew that no matter what
now, as soon as her head hit the pillow she was out for the rest of the
night.

At least, hopefully, she'd be fully rested in the morning when it was time
to meet Milo.......

And to see her first day without her mother following her daily routine of
coming in and waking Reese up throwing open the curtains and commenting on a
beautiful day.

Sam:
Samantha sat up when she heard splashing near the shore line. She still
wasn't sure what she was going to do, but she'd worked things out in her
mind so that she felt better. And she'd gotten over the urge to knock Julia
Walker's block off. Sam could hold a grudge, but she usually reserved that
for really bad things, and Julia's actions weren't all that terrible really,
just annoying. "Feel better," she asked her friend, as she stood up holding
out the towel to her.
