"just watch out for jackson next time huh?" I told him sternly, "he likes
to play...and I hate to disappoint him." I looked over at the island,
"looks like we're here...an eventful journey, but on bablance I have to
say it was fun."

"Next time I'll be sure to get that thing away from you first before
messing with you. OR I could just pick on Lucy!" Darien grinned, but she
was too easy to pick on and he'd already been doing it from the time they
left San Diego till they got here in San Francisco. He
needed a new 'victim'.
Lucy
In response to Jamie's original pleas for help, Lucy only cocked an
eyebrow and turned her attention else wheres. Darien would have his fun
with that insolent kid regardless, and the less Lucy was involved, the
better. Fawkes was gentler than Lucy in his methods of person revenge.
More humorous. Ah well, the kid would cross her eventually. The very
thought caused her to grin sardonically. That would be most entertaining.
Leaning over the edge of the ferry, Lucy phased herself from reality, her
eyes fixed on the distant outline of the island. Drawing distractedly
from her cigarette, the voices and events of Daniels and Fawkes were mere
echoes in her mind. It was that island, more specifically, the Luna
Foundation, which held her in sheer rapture. It was all so damn
intriguing. Pulling herself from the thoughts, Lucy turned her attention
once more to the scene which had played out behind her. Much to her
surprise, Fawkes was once again visible and Daniels appeared to be
tending to a wound. This was all a little too much. Dropping the
cigarette to the ground and kneading it with her boot, Lucy watched the
two, barely stifling her laughter. She waited until the duo were once
again chatting before approaching them. "Glad to see you two are getting
along so well." She said with a grin, looking at Fawkes inquiringly.
Yeah, this was just what they needed. The kid had probably seen something
and Fawkes suddenly appearing from no where wasn't an easy thing to
explain away. Just peachy.
