Derek smiled at the sound of his sister's voice. he stood and waved to
Milo, letting him know with a look that he'd be back. He wanted to talk to
her in private, he just preferred it that way. "I'm well," he told her
warmly, "how about you?" He wondered if he should address the matter of
Julia, she was clearly interested. As he reached hi study he said, "The
woman was Julia Walker, she was going to pick up a friend at the ferry
landing." He explained about her return to them.
NM:
"The Julia Walker..?" Ingrid asked, surprised and a bit awed before
answering the question Derek had asked "I'm well. I'm in San Francisco as a
matter of fact.... was going to call my younger brothe to come pick me up.
Now I believe I am calling to have him send a certain woman driving his
auto. I've come to see you Derek. I just.. had a feeling."
