his arm about the young woman and led her back toward the sitting room.
Perhaps a brandy would do the trick "He's not here ma'am. Do you know him
personally?"
Perhaps he could call the man on the cellphone if she did but he wasn't
going to interrupt business per usual if he could help it. >>

'' Yes I do know Nick......we go back a few years, he knows me alright
'' I found myself saying but it wasn't me speaking. Jonathon asked if I was
feeling alright as he handed me a brandy which I drank all in one go. He
looked surprised as I asked for another brandy which he gave but I snatched
the bottle from his hand and helped myself. '' It is urgent I see him, speak
to him right away, or he could be putting Megan's life at risk as well as his
own! '' I laughed, now realizing who it was who was in my body.
