Julia had made it to her room and made a quick call to
Reese's cellphone to let her know she would be catching up with them in a while
and to assure her that she had the address.
Jonothan saw the Professor's friend at the door and
approached him "Julia asked me to find you sir. She's had a delay this
morning and has already made arraingements with your daughter to meet with all
of you in a few hours. She just wanted to make sure you knew so that you
weren't waiting."
"If you'll excuse me," the butler then excused himself "I
have to get breakfast ready for the others. Good luck on your
venture."
Julia:
"Darn stubborn man." she said without heat as she laid her
head against the pillow, closing her eyes against the memory of moments
before. She half groaned to herself and thumped the pillow before turning
on her side and wishing she had had the guts to admit to him how she was
feeling.
Of course, she thought with a soft, sad sigh, she could
also risk losing him as a friend if she did.
She set the alarm and fell asleep, wondering what he would
have done if she had done more than what she had.
Julia chuckled tiredly as she started falling
asleep. And it was official, she thought, eyes closing, the scent she had
smelled in his bathrobe was his shampoo.... nice shampoo
too.....
