Derek:
Derek led Milo down to the parlor and poured him a drink, handing the glass
to his friend, he then poured himself one. "You know Julia could be helpful
in the identification and appraisal process, if you decide to allow her to
go."
Kat:
"Okay," Kat's voice could be heard from the front door as she shouted backt
o Julia. She hurried towards the stairs.
Derek:
Derek stood and headed for the foyer, to make a suggestion to Kat. "It's
time to get ready for bed," he told her gentle bracinghimself for the battle
to come. He was after all not her mother and this was never an easy process
when the woman was around.
Kat:
"Okay, I'll go get ready. You don't have to tuck me in or anything. I'm
really tired," Kat added and ran up the stairs.
Derek:
Derek stared after her completely shocked. In the back of his mind
something seemed really off. However, he would definitely be chacking on
her to make sure she went to bed.
Kat:
Kat hurried to her room and changed into her night gown, then she sat down
on her bed. "Miranda," she said softly.
