Julia slowly came awake and stretched slowly before seeing
the time and getting up to get ready.
The nap had felt good but it was time to get back on track
and to work. It took all of fifteen minutes to get cleaned up and changed,
Jonathan having gotten the first outfit washed and returned to her room without
making a sound.
She left her room and went to find Derek, remembering
earlier and her actions. She reached the base of the second floor stairs
and closed her eyes as it replayed in her mind before opening them again and
realizing something.
He hadn't pulled away from her. But was that from
being shocked to that point or... something else..?
