This had been the third or fourth time the woman had mentioned something
that wasn't common knowledge and Jonathan's gaze because hard as he
straightened. The woman came in tossing the name about as if it were common
knowledge, questioned him about how many people and who all were here at the
house, then demanded to see Nick Boyle. He looked once at Philip but
continued with the same countanance.
He was merely a butler but even HE felt suspscious of the woman's true
intentions.
"Stay here." was all he said as he went in search of Doctor Rayne. He would
have gone to Ms Julia but she was resting as per instruction from the man he
was now seeking.
He found him a few minutes later <<I'm assuming it's pre-trip to the Aunt's
house because of 'when' we left off with the last post ;)>> and explained
the situation, adding on a comment he rarely used with anyone there but
feeling it noneless "I don't trust her, sir. Her obsession with Mister
Boyle has me concerned as well."
With that he excused himself and went to go back downstairs and relieve
Philip until the Professor was able to show up.
