>Julia:
>"Yeah well don't worry, I'll try not to make a habit
of it," Reese teased him before welcoming Julia who
>just poked her head in "No way. We'll be doing this
for a couple of days with everything here. Why not
>help me with the closet? Mi - My dad is taking care
of the furniture and making fun of the coat rack I
>like."

 Milo:

"Hey now I wasn't making fun it's nice in a sorta
Victorian wannbe way." Milo said with a grin.

>Julia chuckled and entered, asking curiously "Where's
Sam? I would have thought she'd be here."

>"Oh, she is," Reese answered, pulling out another box
for Julia to start on "But she's taken to keeping to
>open areas.. like the big living room. I'm sure
she'll be up in a little while."

>Julia sat on the floor with Reese as she took off her
jacket and set it on the chair beside her and took a
>scrunchy from the pocket the cell phone was in and
put her hair up in a loose pony tail, on top of her
head >to better let whatair she got hit her neck. She
rolled up her sleeves and nodded once "Cool. Can't
say as I >blame her. I swear this place, if you stuck
enough dust and webs in here, could be a backup stage
for the >Munsters."

Milo:

"I was more of a Aadam's family fan myself.. though I
guess you wouldn't remember that show me being the old
fogie here." He said he felt good that Julia wasn't
still mad about last night.

>Reese chuckled at that, agreeing. She hoped that
maybe, on a more nuetral/working environment, that the
>two women could get to know each other better. She
was sure they could hit it off if given the chance.

>"What do you want to keep out of all of this?" Julia
asked, seeing a variety of things in the box.

>"Photos and official stuff mainly."

>Julia nodded and set to work.

>Reese looked over at Milo "Having fun yet?"

Milo:
Milo had been taking notes on various furniture and
objects around the area. He would check them against
the catalogue to make sure everything was accounted
for. "Oh yes This couch is an athuthentic Victorian
love sofa, you can tell by the patterns on it. Not
to,., Well I won't bore you with those details." He
siad scratching out more notes on the pad.

>Sam:
>Sam had set aside most of the things she thought
Reese would want to keepand pretty much packed up
>whatever else she could in the living room and dining
room. Now she headed upstairs and peeked in the
>doorway. "She had some pretty nice looking china,
you should take a look at. There's a truly horrendous
>coat rack down there though," she added as she
stepped inside. She growned inwardly at the sight of
Julia, >but managed not to say anything.

>Reese made a face at her friend "Leave the coat rack
alone. It's cute.

>"China? Okay I'll take a peek at it." she shrugged
and stood, a deliberate innocent look on her face as
she >pointed a thumb at the box she was still going
through "Just finish that up for me and I'll be back
in a
>minute."

>"Hey, Po- Dad," Reese teased him "Want to come see
some China? I think we can dig up Japan >somewhere
too."

Milo:

"Oh I hope not that is a god awful heavy place." He
said as he followed them.

>Julia choked on a groan of laughter at such bad pun
and shook her head after her. That was like the not
so >obvious hint for Sam to start talking to her that
she had ever heard and she looked at the woman that
had >been left with her "She sounds like Robin in the
60s Batman sitcom."

>Sam:
>"I suppose, if you think early Transylvanian is
cute." She watched as her friend left her high and dry
with >Julia Walker. Silently she moved tot he box and
picked up where Reese had left off, seriously
>considering bopping her friend in the head when they
got home. Sam continued to work keeping her eyes >on
what she was doing as Julia spoke. "Yeah, she's like
that a lot," she agreed without much expression in
>her tone.

>Marissa:
>She had gone downstairs a little ahead of Milo and
into the room Sam had
>been working in, spotting the China in question.

Milo:

Milo followed her into the basement "awfully dark
here You'd think they make basements nicer you know?
To much dark and dank.. it's not good." He said
shaking his head.

>Picking it up and looking at it from all angles Reese
had to admit it was pretty. Tea Rose had always been
>her favorite design. She looked up at the clock
still sitting on the mantle and blinked. She hadn't
realized >how long they had been there already. No
wonder her stomach was growling.

Milo:

Milo began to look through the china himself along
with Marissa. It was a late 17th century design he
thought to himself. "This is quite valuable stuff here
Marissa.. Actually there was.." He was saying

>She looked back at a sound in the hallway, thinking
it was Milo, missing the quick sparkle of the china's
>edge as she ran her finger along the side of the
plate and suddenly gasped in sharp pain.

>"Ow!" she jumped in reaction, looking down to see she
had cut herself. She put the plate down and >walked
back toward the hallway and looked up at Milo, sucking
her finger to stop the bleeding "You >wouldn't by >any
chance have Band-Aid would you?"

Milo:

Milo went over to Marissa but she was already gone
from the room. He sighed and picked up the plate
frowning at it. There was a tiny fracture on the edge
this plate wasn't worth much now. Putting it down he
followed Marissa.

>Julia looked up suddenly and started to stand,
leaving the box where it was and heading out into the
>hallway and looking down over the rail at Reese. The
sound Reese had made hadn't been loud enough to >be
heard; Julia had Felt the sharp pain.

>"You okay?" she asked, frowning in concern.

Milo:

Milo catching up to his daughter "It was just a plate
with an infracture "

>"I'm fine, just thinking I need to wear a
accident-prone sign around my neck or something.
Would anyone >mind if we called it a day today? I...
I would just rather get something to eat and give me
and my finger >the day to recoup."

Milo frowned at Marissa "Already? We've just got
here." Milo said sounding disapointed though he
figured it was best if she didn't want to be here.

>That wasn't the whole truth, she admitted to herself.
She just didn't want to be there right now. With an
>apologetic look at Milo she offered "Why don't we
grab some lunch and then go to the mall or >something?
Or we can go digging around in my attic and find
some old albums or something."

"Sure.. whatever you want Marissa." He said not sure
what else TO say.

***
>From the shadows, the woman smiled. She could leave
if she wanted but Reese would be hers.

>Without anyone noticing it, the plate with Reese's
blood vanished.

***

>Julia looked at the time on her watch and realized
they had been there a good three/four hours. They had
>started the closet and had just finished it but she
could understand Reese's hesitancy in continuing. The
>house was spooky but it was the house of a deceased
family member. She shrugged, "Fine with me, just >let
me know when you want to continue."

>Reese nodded, knowing the woman meant both with the
house and the training
>they had been talking about while doing the closet
"Thanks. Sam?"

Milo:

"I'll go get your coat." Milo said.

OOC: god I suck L

>Julia looked to the side and straightened, excusing
herself with a slight apologetic smile at having left
her >without explanation and to go back into the room
and pick up her jacket and take the cell phone out to
let
>Derek know what was up and to check on Kat. She had
peeked in on her this morning, with Kat still >sound
asleep but, until the mess with the stalker was taken
care of, she wanted to keep close tabs on her.

>She could tell she was going to have bad reception
already and so left the bedroom and made her way
>downstairs and to the front door, pointing to the
phone to let the others know why she was moving that
>way before opening the door and stepping out onto the
porch.

>"Derek," she greeted him simply "We're calling it a
day a little early, thought I'd let you know. I'm
going >to be heading back but thought I'd drop the
order for tonight off at the Chinese place so we don't
have to
>worry about it later then I'll be home."

>She listened for a minute and smiled "And your baby
is still in one piece not a single scratch. Do you
or >Ingrid need anything while I'm out?"

Sam:
>Sam hurried down the stairs and retrieved her purse
searching through it for a band aid. She cam came
>over to Reese. "Let me see it," she instructed and
quickly bandaged it up with antibiotic ointment.
"Yeah, >that's fine with me," she agree regarding
leaving for the day. She brushed a strand of hair out
of her eyes. >"Maybe you and Milo can have dinner out
someplace orsomething," she suggested.

Milo:

Milo watched how well Sam took care of HIS daughter,
so well it was like she didn't need him. He was just
an intruder. He hadn't bothered to mother her about
the cut mainly cause she was an adult afterall. He
just left them two to talk while he went out to his
own car.

>Derek:
>"No," Derek told her. "Just bring yourself and the
car back. Kat is fine, don't worry so much."
