Kat looked around her room in disbelief. She wanted to play with Miranda,
it wasn't fair that she had to leave. Why was the necklace such a big deal?
The little girl sighed heavily. She knew what she had to do, but it was
making her feel bad. Slowly she lifted the chain over her head and put the
necklace in the top drawer of the bathroom vanity. She closed it and closed
her eyse again. "Take me back there," she told the bracelet.
