The woman had left Horton earlier.  What he had planned for the house was devious indeed, but she had other things to worry her and to settle.  One of which was that woman.
 
She had taken great pains to move about the grounds without being noticed and had left several hours later, a cool, cruel smile upon her features as she knew what she had to do and set about getting it accomplished.
 
Everything would be prepared and in place to carry out tomorrow.
 
At least Horton would be less two holy beings when she succeeded in their destructions.
 
And perhaps, she thought mildly, an ally plus when she took her neice's place and instigated herself into the house.
 
"We'll see." she murmured to herself as she went back to her home.  We shall see....
