"Oh I know Mari." Milo said "So what's this about dropping out of first
gear? What's Samantha up to?"

Marissa twirled her fork around a few pieces of pasta before answering
"She's up to your friend, Professor Rayne but...."
She shrugged. Sam was her best friend but Reese had looked at all of the
people 'involved' in Sam's interest and had her own thoughts about it. She
wasn't even sure if this was one of those 'best to be on the sidelines'
situations.
She looked at Milo curiously before asking "What would you do if you saw
your best friend going for something you're not too sure is .. um, available
to be gone after?"
And she had met most of his friends? that was cool, he'd met hers too.
