"Earth to Nick." Alex said teasingly, right before they
heard a sound from upstairs "Uh oh"
upstairs "Uh oh"
Kat! Rachel sat bolt upright, looking around
frantically. Where was Kat?
She called out to her daughter, not remembering what she
had done prior or how she got home. She reached up and felt her forehead;
clammy. Fever? Flu?
Her medical mind whispered back 'withdraw' and she
stopped, frowning. Then she grimaces as her stomach cramped and she lay
down. Where was Kat? Why did it hurt so much?
