"Why don't you go on ahead?" Julia suggested to Alex "We can catch up after checking on Kat and it'll give you some time to get changed and whatever you need to do?"     Her friend was watching them banter back and forth but she also had a worried look in her eye and Julia suspected it had to do with leaving Nick and Rachel with Rachel being so bad off.   Just then the phone rang and she reached over to answer it.  It was an in-house call so she didn't bother with formalities " 'lo?"   She listened for a moment "Well sure, patch it in..... Reese, what's up?"   Again she listened, a little frown creasing an eyebrow, and then "Sure we could.  Would 5 be too late?  Hold on."   She covered the receiver and looked at Derek "She's having some trouble containing her ability and wants to know if we could start the exercises today instead of doing the antique/house thing.  I'd use the backyard and set up the patio for a dinner with her Dad?"
