"Yes," he said finally rubbing the back of his neck.  "I'm fine.  Are you?"  He knew 
Nick had barely spoken to Julia since she arrived and he could understand why, but he 
hoped the two
of them wouldn't spend the rest of their lives avoiding one another.  That was hard 
even a house the size of his own and it was hard on everyone living there.


Nick actually grinned, crookedly as per usual "I'm good.  I'm not as weirded out as I 
thought I'd be.  It's almost like... this is how it's supposed to be so it's easy to 
get on with things?"

He shrugged, not one to have much stock in things such as fate or occurances that had 
a paranormal kind of hint to it.  But this time... it would be pretty stupid not to 
acknowledge it considering she HAD come back from the dead.

He quirked another grin and started on the second plaster, only to call up at Julia 
when she asked about leaving "I can have this poured and tossed in the trunk in a few. 
 Just have Alex grab our bags."

He then looked at Derek "We're cool."
