Julia sat on the edge of Rachel's bed, having gotten the woman bundled up and packed a small bag she thought Rachel might need eventually.   She stroked hair from her face gently, making a mental promise to her that she would take care of Kat until such time that Rachel would be able to.  It's not as if she could do any less.  Kat had a special place in her heart and Julia couldn't let anything happen to her anyway.   And she knew Derek felt the same way.   Taking care of Kat got Julia to thinking about alternative ideas about making sure she stayed safe....
