Alex hung up from Julia, her expression thoughtful.  She made a mental note to talk to her friend when she and Derek got back but for now she turned her concentration back to the readouts.   She should have something by the time they got back with the way things were starting to fall into place.   Keeping him up to date, Alex transferred what she had come up with to Nick's laptop.  He was online as well, tracking down the shoes and companies that made the particular make and brand they had found in the impressions.
