Derek:
Derek looked through the portfolio and indeed there was no picture of of
Michael in it. He looked at Edwin his gaze still hard. "Keep an eye on
him," he told Julia and headed for the storage room. He pulled out the
crate containing hte painting and looked at it. A bright flash of images
stuck him as he did so. Images of Edwin and the painting, unsettling
images. He knew now that they would not find a duplicate in this house.
But how had he done it? This couldn't be the same portrait, it just felt
wrong, however....perhaps it was. Perhaps, Lyons had just been looking at
it, but that felt wrong. He returned to the foyer. "What exactly were you
doing int he storage room," he demanded.
