"Derek asked me to come here. If they're even a little bit close to the
truth about the
history of the artifact, then they're going to need us. No question. But I
didn't really get a chance to check out its authenticity, or even follow up
on the finder being killed. Not that I don't believe them, but we've seen
people fooled before. Although," Kristin grew thoughtful, "there's
definately something about it. A feeling...I don't know. I think they
might be right." She risked a quick glance at Philip.
"Killed?" Philip asked "Ye mean at the dig four days ago?"
