He looked at Derek, dark eyes apologetic but tone still professional "I do
apologize but this is something I cannot ignore. I will of course keep in
contact with the medical team here and check in but I must leave. The
technician is going to stay until," he nodded at the nurse "she can come
back and stay at Doctor Corrigan's side. She had explicit instructions on
how to carry on and my direct number if something should happen, which I
seriously doubt will."
He took a small booklette from his coat pocket and handed it to Rayne "This
is what Doctor Corrigan will have to look into after she gets through this.
Support and continued treatment to make sure she doesn't fall back into this
terrible cycle. And I do hope that you catch whoever it was that put her
through this."
Derek:
"Thank you," Derek replied taking the book. "We will find him. In fact, I
have someone out looking for him right now. Thank you for coming out. I
understand perfectly." He shook Claude's hand. "Good luck with your
daughter, I hope it's nothing too serious."
