Kat grinned back at her. "That's no problem, I'm always hungry after
school." She started to hurry towards the doors and turned to wave. "Bye,
you too." Then she rushed into the school looking for the group of girls
she usually hung out with. Not friends exactly, but sort of. It was
getting there.

Julia smiled and drove off, waving at the crossing guard that gave her a
wave and go ahead to proceed out into the street.

Store, she listed off the things she needed to do before going back to the
house and picking Alex up for that shopping trip, for the stash and more
coffee...

Office supplies she'd need to dive into the paperwork waiting, like maybe
even that headset phone she was teasing Derek about a while back and lots of
the kinds of pens she liked writing with.

She took the interstate to the shopping center that had both kinds of stores
in it and picked up what she needed.

An hour and a half later and she was on her way back to the house and ready
to start work.

"So how was your first day at domestic school shuttling?" Jonathan asked
when she entered the kitchen a while later, taking the bag of groceries from
her hand and unloading them to the different places they belonged.

Julia grinned and shifted the bags on her wrists into her hand "Awesome.
Nick hasn't found out he's out of junk food has he?"

"Nope, he's been up with the Professor." Jonathan answered as he stuck the
junk food in it's 'hiding place' and looking back in the bag "Oh, the doc'll
like this."

He took out a special brand of coffee, referring to a special blend and
Derek's like of the product "It's hard enough to try and find this thing
around here."

Julia chuckled and went to go help herself to the coffee already brewed
"Don't I know it but I found a coffee warehouse that you can call and order
it any time. I set up an account there so you didn't have to be bothered
with it."

"Much appreciated." Jonathan returned the happy expression as he put the
rest of the groceries up "Is there anything you'll need when I head out?"

Julia thought and then shook her head "Not that I can think of. Has Alex or
Ingrid woken up yet?"

"Sister Ingrid had breakfast and is sitting with Rachel but Alex is still
asleep."

"Good. Well in that case," Julia said before stirring her coffee and
putting the spoon in her mouth to taste the residue and putting it in the
sink of water already drawn there "I'm going to dive into the paperwork. If
you need me I'll be the thing moving under the pile."

"Operation paperwork catch up," Jonathan joked "commences."

They both chuckled as she left and headed upstairs.

Julia stopped by the Control Room first to let them know she was back and
heading to the office to work.

It took some major restraint not to ask about the status of finding the
stalker, keeping with the 'not being official so not really cleared to hear
classified information' regulation that was in place for non Legacy members.

So she concentrated on the Luna Foundation part of it and pointed a thumb
behind her at the entrance, in the direction of Derek's office "I'm going to
be getting the paperwork if you don't mind and if you need your office set
up nearby."
