Derek:
"We will be," Derek promised. Then he grinned at her comment on his choice
in clothing. "No goats in the house," he instructed as he left the room.
He then headed down stairs and outside, glad that he had left his jacket
upstairs. He felt better having a chance to say good bye.
He arrived at Nick's car, which was already running and hopped into the
passenger side. Pulling out his phone he called Frank and asked him to do
an unofficial drive by. A few moments later his cell phone rang and Frank
reported that all seemed quite at the man's house. Really quiet. Derek
hung up. "He is either sleeping or not home."
