Nick drove the Stag, pushing the speed limit, as he headed toward the
address Derek had given him, jaw clenched.

If anyone had hurt Julia they would have both Nick and Derek to answer to;
Nick because both she and Derek were together and they were happy and
expecting a kid- there was no way in hell he was going to let anything
happen to that, not as long as he was around.

Hell, he thought with a grim promise to himself, even if he bit the bullet
he would still come back and make whoever had done this pay. Make them beg
while Nick drove them insane any which way he could.

He glanced sideways at Derek and knew he probably had a few ideas of some
serious pain himself.

Taking a short cut it was only a matter of minutes before they pulled up
into a mass of burning rubber as he stopped in front of the Aunt's house, at
the last place they knew Julia had been.

He turned the engine off and reached over to the glove box, taking out his
gun "Time to rock n roll."

<That's okay.>

Derek was silent on the ride over. For once he didn't care about Nick's
irradic driving. In fact, he considered telling his friend to go faster,
but decided that wasn't teh best of ideas. He was out of the car almost
before it had pulled to a completely stop, nodding at his friend's comment.
He headed straight for the front door. It was standing open and he entered
calling out. "JULIA!" There was no answer though he thought he heard
something, he wasn't sure. "JULIA!" He moved inside the house and noticed
the definite signs of a struggle. Not to mention the ash from burn corpses.
Severely burnt corpses.
