She was under their control and she felt the desire leap
within her. When she was brought into the Vampire's chambers she saw and
heard Julia as she pleaded with her but just looked at her. She even
walked up to her friend and touched her cheek, curiously.
"You should stop struggling, Julia." she advised her
friend before looking at the one that had summoned her "I wouldn't hurt her if I
were you. It would be your destruction."
She walked back to the vampire, her tone and expression
oblivious to the danger she was in "You'll lose people just for taking
her. They'll come for her."
They'll come for her too but she didn't comment on that as
a goblet on the table nearby caught her attention and she reached for it "I
remember this. It let Philippe <don't know how to spell his name =)>
go out into the daylight, before..."
A memory hit her hard enough to make her flinch. It
was of her killing the man that had been in love with her, and she saw it all in
red. Red like the blood she had spilled, because she had allowed herself
to listen to Nick and Derek...
She looked at the Vampire beside her and he spoke,
capturing her eyes with her own and calming her. Then, saying something to
Julia, he led Alex out and she went with him without struggle.
When she saw Julia again it was almost an hour and a half
later and as a Changling, not yet a vampire but awaiting her sacrifice to become
one.
