The black cloud circled her and then started to sit on top
of her and Claire started pulling on her bindings frantically. That was,
until the black mist shot forward and into her mouth and nose. Then her
body just tensed as the resurrection started to happen.
A woman.. was his first conscious thought as he realized
what kind of sacrifice his 'child' had chosen for his return. It would do
until he got his hands on another body.
Claire's memories of everything that had happened up until
that moment came to him as he killed the woman's spirit and took
over.
The chains snapped under his strength and he/she sat up,
eyes flashing red before turning to Nick. It was then that the sounds
coming from the other vampires stopped, realizing what had just happened and
welcoming the elder vampire back.
"Well, well well..too bad Philippe couldn't be here to see
this." He/she said as he slid off of the altar and walked toward him, only to
turn toward Alex and growl under his/her breath. She had, after all,
killed Philippe. But a promise was a promise and he/she knew that Philippe
would have wanted Alex to join their ranks.
"Take your sacrifice now."
He/she then went to go pick up the artifact. The
artifact had to remain intact for the next twenty four hours or the resurrection
would not last.
