The security guard arrived moments later and Julia helped
Sam put Reese into the car, getting in the front seat with him while Sam sat
with Reese. She had left the sword inside the UV and had locked it as it
had been, leaving the driver's door open.
Without comment the guard drove off, heading back to the
House. When they reached there he got out and went to help Sam with the
woman that was barely able to keep her eyes open and sweating
bullets.
"Take her inside, Jonathan will show you where to go."
Julia told him, following behind and closing the front door behind
them.
"I have some clothes she can change into." She said, the
butler already leading the others up to the second floor and Julia continuing up
to the third floor and into the bedroom. Moments later she entered the
room that Jonathan had readied for Reese and, hearing activity, decided it best
if she wasn't in the way and exited, going back downstairs to wait in the
sitting room.
Reese tried to focus on Sam as she was put in the tub,
clothes and all, but only managed some kind of mumble and closed her eyes, the
water steaming on contact.
