"I'm not sure...I was busy
with the officers, but did the doctor already see you? I'll get the
nurse-she can probably tell us if its okay to go home," she stuck her head out
the door of the room to ask the nurse to come in when she had a second.
Kristin looked down at her clothes a little ruefully, "I know I'm ready for a
bath...and I want to make sure Derek, Nick
and Alex are okay..." The nurse looked up from her
station and came toward her "I just got off of the phone with the Luna
Foundation. The doctor's gone ahead and signed the Father out and I was
asked to pass on the message that your employer is sending a car to take you
both to the house."
"So..." the nurse continued,
stepping into the room and waiting for Kristen to come back in before handing
Philip two lollipops and his papers "Sign and wait for your ride and then show
back up for your check up and I won't have to come find you."
