Barbara looked at the young woman for a moment but she couldn't place her "I wouldn't really know but if I introduce myself you might know.  I'm Barbara Rayne, Derek Rayne's mother."   "Of course, I should have realized." Megan smiled as she went to her and extend her hand in greeting "I'm Megan Torrence, a -- friend of your son's.  Perhaps he's mentioned me?"
